Surf's UP in Haleiwa Town!

It's that time of year for the annual Van's Triple Crown of Surfing!  This year's event will start on November 12 and run until December 20, 2011.  You will get a chance to see surfing stars like Kelly Slater and Joel Parkinson!  In addition to the surf competition events, this year features a diverse variety of surf-inspired events like a beach cleanup, surf film festival, surf art show and more.  The first event of the season takes place at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park and last for four days.  The winner of that event will take home a whopping $145,000 prize purse.  Good luck to all of the competitors!  The last winner of this event was Joel Parkinson from Australia.  For more information about the upcoming Triple Crown of Surfing events, click here.  Oh and while your down on the North Shore, be sure to visit our friends over at Surf n Sea.  Open since 1965, they are Hawaii's oldest surf and dive shop.  You can learn more about their shop by cilcking here.  Surf n Sea also carries our line of Haleiwa Super Market products.  We hope that you enjoy your next visit to the North Shore!
